I’ll be discussion children’s rights and their sexuality, the disabled and their sexual and reproductive rights. I’ll be talking Advocacy using the lens. I hope we’ll read and reel to reality!

Ke Mosali
The funny thing is I really like it as it has brought a lot of positive changes in my life like; I feel more comfortable in my skin and even more confident with my life. If somebody had expected that from me a year ago, shu! I would have run a mile! hahaha!lol! It's amazing how great it is to embrace changes in ones life and letting go of one's trivial fears.
I would just like to say with a 12 years old son, Uta Production, me turning 35 years old on the 16th of February and many other achievements, I am a WOMAN now!

Jerusalema
Greetings fellows, it’s been a long time. However, I need to share my distress.
It was rather sad for me when I received NFVF "newsletter" last week with exactly one story, informing all the recipients of this “OSCARS NEWSLETTER" of the failure for Jerusalema to make it for Best Foreign Language Film category nominations with the Oscar awards.
For those of you friends who receive FEPACI newsletter, the review that I did on Jerusalema Click for article published on the September issue, will remember my outlook on the film. What really baffles me is that one would think at this initiation stage of our country to the industry, all stakeholders would support and encourage initiatives like the making of Jerusalema. Look, having studied film and all, I earnestly would highly recommend production of films that are of high standard, that award consideration to the necessary rules in the game. Of course criticism should be there and is expected for a creative piece in order to encourage even more challenging products for the future. Is it called constructive criticism? However, I found it rather strange when the NFVF on the 8th of December 2008, published a rather strongly negative article by Ntate Don Matterra on Jerusalema click for article. Going back to the article today one wonders, was there great anticipation for Jerusalema not to make it through the Oscars? Are we really already in the stage of discouraging films of this caliber made in our country? I suggest we allow the passionate to populate our industry with great stories because this is only the beginning and we need to make a mark globally for our Film industry to grow!

Zanusi & Arts Alive
About my host organisation, This is a very interesting company and I am proud to remind you that the director is the lady who presented to us about branding, Nomahlubi Simamane. So, you know what Zanusi does. I am working on a project called Arts Alive that Zanusi is magaging. AWESOME!
You should all understand that after my BA in Drama, circumstances forced me into teaching and I missed Arts, the stage and everything in performing arts. For the first time I am dealing with Arts in a formal workplace without insecurities. Arts Alive is an anual event that takes place in Johannesburg every year in September. Three years ago Zanusi won a tender to manage this exciting event. I am working as an assistant project manager with a FABULOUS lady, Madeleine Wickins the project manager (when she is not "boxing my ears" or "smacking my bottom"). I am glad to say I am surrounded by an interesting team that practically applies teamwork skill.
Arts Alive has many projects with different product suppliers and I get to work with a lot of people with diverse cultures and personalities. Therefore I am forced to apply skills acquired from our training (you better believe this, "emotional intelligence and resilience" mostly). Also we interact with Artists, INTERNATIONAL and local! Really exciting.
One last thing, I have learned from ausi Noma that SEPARATING FACTS FROM EMOTIONS will get you far in the work place. Please keep on reading the workplace every Wednesday, Its quite exciting.

Corporate Creativity; Have fun and be yourself
I say, remain your comfortable self, have fun at work because if you do not enjoy it, you will end up ineffective. Roy Blumendal on his presentation about corporate creativity indicated that one needs to play sometimes as this is a period that one becomes more creative. Moreover, we are individuals and we deal differently with managing our stress. Sometimes the organisation's culture can be boring and I deem there is no harm if one brings life to the office. That can actually impact on the outcome as relaxed people can think positively and therefore be productive. Furthermore, corporate creativity liberates the employee as it allows one to think outside the box and initiate as well as become a self-stater. In short, I advice you fellow interns and everybody in the world of work to have fun and be yourselves, after all the workplace is where you spend the better part of your life.
Enjoy, and hey Gaston I don't want to hear you saying that blowing bubbles is for "les enfant".Remember, in every man there is a boy.
